The room didn't meet expectations but the staff was helpful. Minor AC issues and misleading pricing were inconvenient, but the prime location near Times Square and Broadway made up for it. Ben was particularly outstanding. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The room was lovely, and Chrystali was a gem during my late check-in. However, the bed's hidden platform was a nuisance, and the hotel lacked amenities. Despite the scolding at checkout, the location was superb, staff attentive, and the daily room cleaning was a pleasant surprise. The noisy entrance door and lack of in-room kettle were minor inconveniences.

I had great 5-night stay here! The room was big, with king size bed. A shower, hair dryers and bath sheets were available there. The staff was accommodating especially the doorman. Besides, parking was available nearby. The location was fantastic, not too far from Rockefeller Center.

A budget hotel, my first choice in New York City. Everything was good, had a comfortable stay. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe in the room.

The Square Hotel offers a convenient, relaxing, and affordable place to stay in New York City's Theater District. The friendly team gave us great suggestions for things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the performances at Madison Square Garden, being one of the most iconic entertainment venues with live sports, concerts, and events.

My wife says that the bathroom could do with a bit of updating.

Cheap hotel located in a secure area really close to Broadway theaters and the Gershwin Theatre and Broadway. They offered a great selection of options for continental breakfast. We had early check-in on arrival. Very central setting of the venue. We had a very enjoyable experience here.

Leaky windows caused large temperature fluctuations and did not insulate against traffic noise in any way. Setting the desired shower temperature is impossible, large fluctuations in water temperature.

Despite the noisy, non-soundproofed windows and old heater, the hotel's location is great, allowing easy access to nearby coffee shops. The location of this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! Right in the heart of the Theater District, we were just steps away from Times Square and conveniently close to the subway entrance. Talk about super easy access to all the amazing sights and sounds of the city! The staff here did their best to make our stay enjoyable, and we really appreciated the 24-hour reception. Plus, the free wi-fi in the rooms was a total game-changer. Despite the small room size, the cleanliness of the bathroom was jaw-dropping. And even though the bed was smaller than expected, we managed to make do as we were only there to sleep. The fact that they provided free water bottles was a nice touch that we really loved. All in all, if you're looking for a non-smoking and air-conditioned property with great location and amenities like a bar/lounge area, restaurant, laundry, lift, and business center, this place definitely fits the bill!

Location of the hotel very close to Broadway and Times Sq subway 1 directly downstairs ideal for sightseeing. The staff is welcoming and responsive to our requests.

Natsumi Restaurant's fusion cuisine was a highlight. Conveniently close to iconic landmarks. Rooftop lounge for private events was a hit. A hidden gem for a relaxing stay! Der Emailverkehr zur Klärung dieser Details war hervorragend. Das Zusatzbett inklusive Frühstück zu einem Preis von nur 30 € pro Nacht war ein super Angebot. Das Hotel bietet einen stilvoll eingerichteten Frühstücksraum und auch das Frühstück selbst hat sich ein wenig an vegane Gäste angepasst, indem es Hummus angeboten hat. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, in unmittelbarer Nähe des historischen Zentrums und direkt am Fluss.

After a long day of walking, the subway is conveniently close and the platform is low to the ground, providing easy access. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice sheets.
